Asymmetric shape - The fins have a different foil on the inside and outside of the fin. The water has further to travel on the outside of the fin, this produces lift toward the edge of the board that is in the water which helps the rail dig in the water. The foils on each side have been tuned into the speeds that Twin Tips are ridden. They are not flat on the inside, they have a foil which makes them work better at TT speeds.
The asymmetric shape also loosens the board up and lets it turn more like a surf board. The fins have to be put on the correct side of the board and there is a “this side out” print that goes toward the edge of the board.
